This (proposed) standard codifies roles and tasks involved in the creation and maintenance of addresses in Australia and New Zealand under the authority of the Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying & Mapping.
This standard is dependent on the Address Model.
This standard does not depend on, but is aligned with, the draft Geographical Names Creation & Maintenance Standard with which it will be cross-referenced.
This standard is intended to replace AS 4819: Standards for rural and urban addressing
