autoEdit 1.0.7 release notes
This version is backwards compatible with previous pre-releases from 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 .
- For first time users see these instructions for installing
- For returning users
- For clean uninstall use app cleaner, this will delete transcriptions you might already have in the app.
- To keep previous transcriptions and make use of new functionalities for
1.0.7
.This is only possible if you are running 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 you can just follow regular instructions for installing and drag and drop in applications folder to replace the app. This will keep any transcriptions you currently have in there.

Bug fixes and improvements
- Various bug fixes.
- Transcriptions and Paper-edit lists are now sorted alphabetically. (also transcriptions list in paper-edit view)
- fixed broken link in new transcription page pointing to user manual for setting up STT services
- Fixed broken link in settings page for IBM credentials to user manual
- Wrapped words for transcription title in lists in paper-edit show page, eg if you give it a name with no spaces such as :
test_a_name_so_long_that_needs_wrapping_up_
, for instance when using clip name as name of transcription. - Video Keyboard shortcuts now work for transcription text editing mode as well.
- fixed file upload bug
New features
- Added a file validation that greys out unsupported files (using a list of file supported by ffmpeg ) , if there's an audio or video file you are no longer able to open as a results of this, please do get in touch.
