@mheap proof of concept for the validation prereq for in this series

Checklist

  • Every page is page one.
  • Tested how-to docs. If not, note why here.
  • All pages contain metadata.
  • Updated sources.yaml. For more info, review track docs changes
  • Any new docs link to existing docs.
  • All autogenerated instructions render correctly (API, decK, Konnect, Kong Manager).
  • Style guide (capitalized gateway entities, placeholder URLs) implemented correctly.
  • Every page has a description entry in frontmatter

Is this just for series, or do we expect to use it elsewhere too?

The current design feels like an inline step, just with a different name.

I think this works for now. Let's keep it flexible in case we want to use it elsewhere :shipit:
