[UX/UI] Saving item display as image list reverts to book reader when an image is selected #291

I tried to change the display setting of this item https://dev.dams.library.ucdavis.edu/item/ark:/87293/d3gf89 to "image list" instead of book reader (see screenshot 1 below), it worked when I saved the setting (2 below), but when I click an image or the arrow button it reverts to book reader (3 below). Returning to editing view confirms that the image display has reset to the book reader view.

Sounds like the nav component needs to be updated with the selected media type when the admin pref is saved.

This shouldn't require a reload of the page to function as expected. The edit select dropdown should also be styled appropriately.
