Yeah, Firefox Sync can be kinda wonky sometimes 'cause its IndexedDB strategy is a bit too cautious. Plus, AFFiNE's a local-first app, so it's relying on the browser's database for storage. We do not recommend using this on Firefox. For Chromium, we don't usually get feedback about the editor typing repeatedly. Could you maybe send over a screen recording so we can take a look? 🤔 Thanks! 🙏 |

Hello,
I am currently testing Affine and I like what I see from the desktop browser.
Also at mobile (Android, Chrome and Firefox) the app looked okish at first, which is fine for me to add some notes here and there. However, actually editing notes brought up some odd problems.
At Chromium, every word is typed twice, e.g. "II likelike AffineAffine!". There is nothing I can do about that.
Firefox does not have this behavior. But it seems to completely wreck the layout. Text is not synced to the server (does not appear on the desktop and is lost when reopening the note). Editing simultaneously on Mobile and Desktop shows that mobile text often goes into lines that does not show on Desktop. So on Mobile the text becomes intermingled, on Desktop the Mobile text is just ignored. Everything seems pretty random.
Does anyone have similar experiences?
Best Thanks!
