Is it ingenic? I can order one from canadian amazon and it will be here in a day or two.

Just got one, powered up and tested overnight, will dissect it tonight. I just have about 12 hours living with it for now, not worth it to you or anyone else without more info.

So far does seem to be smooth, does support onvif out of the box but so far untested. I did try to look it up various ways but was unable to find any info on its internals... But its has its cloud support BS as usual for these cheap cams, Phone app just ok... Will have to see how much marketing has exaggerated its specs ;)

BTW, this is not the pro version

While I have not yet cracked this open some probing has determined that the camera is reporting Meari via its onvif config.

The model reported as Speed B18T in ONVIF likely corresponds to the Meari Mini 18T IP camera. This model features H.264 video compression, dual-stream support, and built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax)

FWIW, chatgpt reports they use HiSilicon, Ingenic, or Realtek. So guess its going to take a physical tear-down and a look

If it is Meari T then it is an Ingenic one.

Can confirm my unit is a t23

One needs to remove the bottom, the rotate the upper body to align the holes to remove 4 more screws holding the upper 2 halves .

Each half of the upper shell is screwed to the lower half where the rotate stepper is.

I think the serial port might be under the tilt stepper, just have not gotten that far.

The exposed usb c port is power only, but if we have to clip it the flash appears easy to access. Oh yes, there is an sdcard slot too.
