Component wireframe equivalents in DSM

Problem Statement

• As a designer, I would like to easily create wireframes, so that I can collaborate with stakeholders and team members on concepts.

Recommendation

• Nearly each component in DSM could have a stripped down wire version of it so that it could be used universally for creating wireframes in Sketch.

Design intent

We need to align on how our wireframes look because stakeholders are getting confused about what is a wireframe.

Acceptance criteria

Wireframes are really basic and have no styling or details. Monochrome, boxes, lines and text.

Doug: Whimsical | great, designers can collaborate via workspaces (getting new tool on hold)
Laurel: Figma is being used by HS | Sketch for teams in beta (close, would be nice to use existing tools) | not so great for wireframing, great for flow diagrams
*Dan, Apurv, Lynne, Jess: My TELUS *: leverage/pulling TDS | need a quick way to make changes
Aprile: Miro | easy to communicate with team in VC, good for high-level flows

Varun: it's not only building, but also maintaining. TDS has 2 designers and might not have capacity to maintain

Feedback from R&L team (who use Site builder): The wireframe tools work great and meet over 90% of what we need. Would like to see more xs elements and maybe carousels, tables, hero, river flows...
