Too much announces on tracker

rtorrent 0.15.1 has too much announces to the tracker over 64% more as necessary.

Could you fix this?

Need to be more specific about what the behavior is.

The flood counter of the tracker announce counts to much announce per half hour. The red nubmer is how many announces per too much. qBittorrent v5.0.3 shows a 0 at the same time.

You need to log the tracker requests and show what specific tracker request behavior is the issue.

RTorrent is not calibrated to minimize tracker requests but rather to ensure downloads have enough peers to download at a reasonable speed. (within reason and the bittorrent specs)

64% too much sounds like a minor behavior change, which needs more details and likely a specific low-request behavior setting.
