How to programmatically update richtext editor state?

I'm trying to update the content of a lexical richtext, but looks like the state of the editor is not updated after setting the field value.

This is my code:

// ...

const contentField = useField({
  path: "content",
})

// ...

const editorState = await plainTextToLexicalState(text)
contentField.setValue(editorState)

// ...

Is it possible to refresh the lexical editor state after replacing the content?
