Is tmux Turing Complete?

i have an idea for "generative literate programming" and it assumes a future where i can kinda just pass in the current line im on within a document to tmux/vim and have a copilot act on it (but inform me etc)

idk anything about anything but am wondering if tmux script can be used for things like if statements and loops and then i can use escape codes to create many fantastical things
