Game crashed just after saving, now stuck on old save

I was playing Radical Red, had just made it to route ten when I saved and the game glitched. It gave me the save, but now I can't move or anything. almost like I animation canceled the menu and it broke the whole game. I was snooping around in the emulator when I found the bug report menus, figured i'd ask on here to see if anyone knows what's going, I don't speak tech.
