### Summary A some point in the future it would no doubt make sense to move from the now [non-free Redis](https://redis.com/blog/redis-adopts-dual-source-available-licensing/) to an alternative. The LGPL [Redict looks promising](https://redict.io/posts/2024-04-03-redict-7.3.0-released/), [containers are available already](https://redict.io/docs/install/containers/). The BSD [Valkey](https://www.linuxfoundation.org/press/linux-foundation-launches-open-source-valkey-community) has the support of the Linux Foundation and big cloud capital. ### Motivation At some point Linux distros will stop shipping Redis due to the license change to the SSPL. ### Additional context _No response_
