Listing pages from nested directory on home page

Hi, I am working on a blog which has posts and notes under /content/posts and /content/notes. I have added some additional customizations (clickable tags, tags/categories in sidebar, etc) based on some previous discussions on this page. I want to list my posts directly on home page. I have tried overriding layout/index.html and hextra-home.html but it doesn't seem to work.

Right now I am using just url: / in frontmatter of content/posts/_index.md but this is problematic.

Also if I add content/_index.md it shows 'posts' and 'notes' (which I know is expected, this is where I want to list posts), but as soon as I add it, the tags list and categories list go back to default formatting. How can I resolve this? How can I properly list posts on homepage, without affecting the tags and categories list?

Hi, I managed it by using hextra-home.html itself, might have missed something the first time.
