⚠ WARNING: Contains First World Problems ⚠

Sadly, our old pool cleaning robot was corroded by the salt water in the pool and died: #255
So we are considering getting a new one to clean the dirt/dust that accumulates at the bottom of the pool.

Requirements:

  1. Battery not mains powered. The reason our last (expensive!) one died is because it was left in the salt-water because we didn't have to charge it and corroded. Being forced to charge the battery means we have to remove it from the salty water.
  2. Cheap. So if it breaks or gets stolen (it's outside in the garden easily accessible ...) we won't lose sleep over it.
  3. Easy to operate. No Apps or "AI" features. Just single-button to switch it on and easy to charge.

This is the page on AMZN ES with all the pool cleaning robots:

With the €70 discount it's €220:

Something is off with how Safari is translating these pages from ES to EN. But the price is €125.

All of these robots are made in CN so there isn't much difference between them (IMO).
Think we should just get the one with the best reviews-price tradeoff.
