Solar energy meter not communicating to central regulating body

We got an email from E-Redes saying that our counter has stopped communicating how much energy we are producing (which is a requirement by law) and as such, we have 10 days to get this repaired before we start to get fines.

Before I call out the DAPE technicians, who will probably charge us, could you please log into MEO and see if the SIM card contract has run out for example?
Could be as easy as that to fix.

@iteles for the past 4 months all emails from MEO have been sent to the shared inbox:

You have complete access and can reset passwords easily to access the account.
The invoices which are included as PDF sent to the inbox include a €3/month line item for a Mobile Internet SIM:

Not going to share a full PDF online as don't want randos phishing our account. 🎣
But the quick answer is: YES, we are being charged for the SIM.
To my knowledge (though I was not present when the DAPE people set it up ...),
the SIM does not have a PIN so it does not require any intervention to work.
The bills are being auto-paid by direct debit.

So I really don't understand why it's not working. 🤷‍♂

@nelsonic The DAPE people are finally coming and will be there in 30 minutes.

There are two essential things for them to check out:

1. This issue, why the counter is no longer communication with e-Redes (this is a legal requirement)
2. Why we are not self-sufficient (i.e. our system appears to only work when the rede is working as we saw in the apagão) - we communicated clearly with them when we installed the system that our doors would be electric and we needed to have the battery and ability to use solar power specifically so people wouldn't get trapped dangerously inside in case of an emergency and/or blackout. We need to know why this isn't the case and what can be done to rectify this as it was a clear ask upfront?
