This often happens when the installation media and the installed version are mismatched. A common cause is a language discrepancy, but it’s also worth verifying the version details. When i use method 1 and follow the prompts it gets me to the point where it asks what to preserve. Keeping my settings and apps is grayed out, while keeping all personal files is selected. So in order to do this upgrade i would have to lose all my installed applications and settings? That's certainly not how it works on a normal windows 11 compatible upgrade. Is that the compromise that needs to be made here or am I doing something wrong.
