Description
Describe the bug
This is one that took me a bit to figure out since I reinstalled Arch Linux a few days ago on my laptop and I tried to import my backed up archives in Bottles.
I use KDE Plasma as my desktop environment and I like enabling the "Show Preview Panel" when a KDE window pops up so if I'm going to upload a file, if I click on the image, I can see what it is first before I upload or select it. I didn't realize this was my issue at first.
So to start, I installed Bottles but it was long after I made a bunch of customizations to my desktop environment, one being what I'm talking about here, enabling the "Show Preview Panel" option. When I'd go to import a full archive into Bottles, the moment I would select it or even try typing it into the text box, the window would crash and the KDE icon would bounce under my cursor like it usually does if you open a program within the KDE DE. For fun, I decided to use a clean account without any customizations on by default and to my surprise, I had no issues and I was able to import my archives into Bottles as expected. But when I'd go back to my own personal account, it would crash the moment I selected a file. I started turning off customizations one by one to try finding the culprit. But the interesting thing is that "Show Preview Panel" in Bottles is grayed out completely so you can't interact with it, yet the option is still turned on if you enabled it in a different upload prompt. So there's no way you can turn it off that way and you need to turn it off by getting an upload prompt somewhere else and turning it off that way. Once I did that, I logged out and logged back in and once again, I'm able to import archives without the prompt crashing.
To Reproduce
1: Use the KDE Desktop Environment
2: Right click on the icon for the application launcher and choose Configure Application Launcher
3: Click on "Icon" and click on Choose
4: Click on Browse to select your own icon
5. Under the close (X) button, click on the two green lines with dots
6. Click on "Show Preview Panel"
7. Close all of that out and do a log off/log back on for change to take effect
8. Go into Bottles and try to import either a full archive or just plain configuration
9. The moment you hover over a file, the upload dialogue crashes without an error message
